Arrival Instructions:  On the first day of camp, July 10, 2023, Dr. Smith will be stationed at the overhang near the flag at the UNT Discovery Park bus stop, holding a balloon. This will serve as the designated meeting point for the campers upon arrival. Registration will begin at 8:15 a.m. On each day of the camp, it is mandatory to sign in your student. Clear guides and signs will be provided to assist you in finding the registration room, located in suite F101 of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. It is important to note that this is also the designated room for picking up campers at the end of the day. Should you come late, please follow the directions below.

Directions: Upon arrival at Discovery Park, please proceed through the gated entrance and make a left turn. The visitor parking lot, known as Lot #91, is the second parking area. Once you have parked your vehicle, you can enter the building through the entrance next to the flag poles, which leads to the Dean's Office. After entering, continue down the hallway and veer to the right. The classroom for the summer camp is in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Room F102D.

Drop off/Pick up: The camp will commence at 9 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m. Parents/guardians may drop off their students as early as 8:30 a.m. and are expected to pick them up no later than 4:30 p.m. Kindly note that our office closes at 5 p.m. If you require your child to be released from the camp for any reason, please contact us at 940-565-2400.

Parking Permit: We would like to inform you that according to university policy, parking your car without a parking tag is allowed for a maximum of 15 minutes only.
